The agreement for using badooai.com, the free AI dating tools and the Badoo AI app, in plain language: who can use them, what you can and can't do, community rules for the app, payments, what we promise and what we don't.

Effective 18 September 2026 ยท Applies to badooai.com, the free AI dating tools, and the Badoo AI dating app.

These terms are the agreement between you and Badoo AI ("we", "us") for using our website, tools and app. They're written in plain language on purpose, because terms nobody reads protect nobody. The short version: be 18 or over, be yourself, don't use any of this to scam, spam or harass anyone, don't copy or scrape the site, and understand that our guides are general information and our tools are free helpers rather than guarantees. The privacy policy is part of these terms and explains what we do with personal data.

Badoo AI is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Badoo, Bumble Inc., Match Group or any other dating-app company; those names and logos belong to their owners and appear here only to identify the apps being discussed.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By using badooai.com, the AI tools, or the Badoo AI app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app and the tools; by using them you confirm that you are. You must also be legally able to enter into this agreement and not be barred from using dating services under the law where you live. If you use the app, you'll be asked to accept these terms at sign-up, and sections 7 to 9 apply to you in addition to the rest.

2. Using the website

The website is free to read and needs no account. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not use automated tools to scrape, crawl or copy it beyond what ordinary search engines do, interfere with its operation, attempt to access parts of it that aren't public, or use it to send spam or to identify or target individuals. The site shows advertising and uses analytics, as described in the privacy policy; you can refuse non-essential cookies and the site will still work.

3. Using the AI tools

The AI dating tools (profile generator, opening line generator, reply generator, scam risk checker, photo checklist and app finder) are provided free, run in your browser, and store nothing you type. They are helpers, not guarantees. You are responsible for everything you post or send using their output: check that it is true of you, edit it into your own words, and don't use it to deceive anyone. The scam risk checker gives an estimate based on the signals you describe; a low score is not proof that anyone is honest, and a high score is not proof that they aren't. Don't paste other people's private messages with identifying details into any tool. You may not use the tools to generate spam, harassment, fraud, or content that breaks another platform's rules, and you may not copy, reverse-engineer or resell them.

4. Our content and your rights to it

The guides, rankings, scores, illustrations, tools and design on this site belong to Badoo AI or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may quote short extracts with a clear link to the source page. You may not republish whole pages or substantial parts, present our content as your own, or use it to train or fine-tune machine-learning models, without our written permission. App names, logos and store badges belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the apps discussed; their use here does not imply endorsement. If you send us a correction or suggestion, you allow us to use it without payment or credit unless we agree otherwise; we'll usually thank you by first name if you'd like.

5. Accuracy and independence

We work hard to keep guides accurate and every page carries a checked or updated date, but dating apps change prices, features and rules often, and we can't promise that everything is current at the moment you read it. Company figures are labelled as the company's; unconfirmed claims are labelled unconfirmed. Scores follow one published formula (see about Badoo AI) and are our opinion based on that method. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, medical or psychological advice, and safety guidance, however carefully written, can't cover every situation; in an emergency, contact local emergency services. We do not accept payment to change a score, ranking or verdict and do not publish sponsored reviews; advertising on the site is separate from editorial content.

7. The Badoo AI app: your account

To use the app you create an account with accurate information: your real first name, real date of birth, and photos of you. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done through your account; tell us at once if you think it has been compromised. We may ask you to verify your photos with a live selfie and may limit features until you do. You own the content you post (photos, bio, messages) and give us a licence to store, display and process it as needed to run the app, including showing your profile to other users and using automated systems to keep the service safe. That licence ends when your content is deleted, subject to the retention periods in the privacy policy. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

8. Community rules

These rules exist to keep the app safe for everyone. Breaking them can result in content removal, a warning, or an immediate ban, depending on severity.

You must

  • Be 18 or over
  • Use your own recent photos and your real first name and age
  • Treat other users with basic respect, including when saying no
  • Keep other users' private messages and photos private
  • Report profiles and messages that break these rules
  • Follow the law where you are

You must not

  • Ask anyone for money, gifts, financial details, crypto, or investment; or offer them
  • Use fake, AI-generated or other people's photos, or misrepresent who you are
  • Send spam, identical mass messages, links to other sites, or advertising
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or post hateful, violent or discriminatory content
  • Send sexual content to anyone who hasn't clearly asked for it, or any content involving minors
  • Use automation, bots, scrapers or unofficial clients
  • Use the app for commercial, escort or promotional purposes
  • Try to get around a ban, or create multiple accounts

We use automated systems and human review to enforce these rules. If we suspend or ban your account, we'll tell you the reason where the law allows and you can appeal by email (section 14); a person reviews appeals. We may report illegal conduct to the authorities. Our online dating safety guide explains how to protect yourself, and AI scams and fake profiles explains the patterns these rules are designed to stop.

9. Payments and subscriptions

The app is free to use. Optional paid features (subscriptions and one-off purchases) are sold through Google Play or the Apple App Store, and their billing terms apply: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account, and refunds are handled by the store under its rules. Prices are shown before purchase and can vary by country and over time. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your store first. Purchased credits or one-off features are not refundable once used and are lost if your account is deleted or banned for breaking these terms.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The website, tools and app are provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, or that you will find a match, a date, a friend or anything else. You use them at your own risk and are responsible for your interactions with other people, online and in person; we do not run background checks on users. To the fullest extent the law allows, Badoo AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ยฃ50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Your safety is your responsibility, and ours to help with. We provide verification, reporting and detection tools and publish safety guidance, but no system catches everything. Meet in public, tell someone, video call first, and never send money to anyone you haven't met.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the site at any time and delete your app account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue a service, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licences for the retention period, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue after termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us; most problems can be sorted out by email within a few days. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

13. Changes to these terms

We update these terms when the service or the law changes, and the effective date at the top moves when we do. Material changes that affect app users will be announced in the app before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms. Earlier versions are available on request.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms, appeals against a suspension or ban, copyright notices and legal requests: email contact.badooai@gmail.com or use the contact page, marking the subject "terms", "appeal" or "legal" as appropriate. For anything about personal data, the privacy policy has the details and the same address applies.

Terms: FAQ

Do I have to agree to these terms to read the site?
Using the website means you accept the parts that apply to the website (sections 1 to 6 and 10 to 14). You don't need an account to read guides or use the tools. The app sections apply only if you create an app account, which asks you to accept them at sign-up.
How old do I have to be?
18 or over for the app and the tools, with no exceptions. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are removed. The website's guides are written for adults but can be read by anyone.
Can I copy or republish a guide?
You can quote short extracts with a link back to the page. You can't republish whole pages, scrape the site, or use its content to train AI models without written permission. App names and logos belong to their owners.
What gets an app account banned?
Fake photos or identity, being under 18, asking anyone for money, spam or identical mass messages, harassment or hate, sexual content sent without consent, commercial or promotional use, automation or scraping, and anything illegal. Section 8 lists the rules; bans can be appealed by email.
Are the AI tools guaranteed to work?
No. They're free helpers that run in your browser; results depend on what you type, and you're responsible for what you post or send. Don't let a tool invent facts about you, and edit everything before using it. The AI dating tools page explains how to use them well.
Is anything on the site legal, medical or financial advice?
No. The guides are general information from people who study dating apps closely, not advice tailored to you. Safety guidance is offered in good faith but can't cover every situation; if you're in danger, contact local emergency services.
How do I ask a question about the terms?
Email contact.badooai@gmail.com or use the contact page. For how we handle personal data, see the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
