Badoo Premium: Price, Features & Is It Worth It?
Badoo Premium costs roughly $6–10 a month on longer plans and unlocks who liked you, unlimited swipes, undo, invisible mode and no ads. Here are the current prices by plan, every feature in Premium and Premium Plus, how credits fit in, and an honest verdict on when paying is worth it.
Premium costs roughly $6–8 a month on three- and six-month plans, well under Tinder Plus (≈ $25) and Bumble Boost (≈ $40). It buys visibility and convenience, not better matches. Premium Plus and credits are optional extras most people can skip.
Badoo Premium is the subscription tier of one of the world's most downloaded dating apps, and the question everyone asks is whether it changes anything. The short version: Badoo's free tier already includes messaging, People Nearby, Encounters, video chat and verification, so Premium doesn't unlock access, it unlocks visibility. Its headline feature, seeing who already liked you, turns a blurred list into warm leads and is the one thing that reliably saves time. The rest (unlimited swipes, undo, invisible mode, no ads) is convenience. This page lays out the current prices by plan length, every feature in Premium and Premium Plus, how credits fit in, who should pay and who shouldn't, and the ways to pay less.
Prices are typical US App Store and Google Play figures checked in September 2026; your store shows local currency and the figures move with promotions and country. For what you get without paying, see is Badoo free?; for the app itself, the Badoo review and beginner's guide.
Badoo Premium prices by plan
Premium Plus runs roughly $20–30 a month. Badoo periodically offers lifetime Premium at around $60, which is worth it only if you expect to use the app for more than six months. The weekly plan exists for people who want a quick look at who liked them; it costs almost three times the six-month rate per day, so if you're curious, a month is the cheaper test.

Of these, see who liked you is the one that matters: it shows you the people who already hearted you in Encounters, so you can match and message in seconds instead of swiping blind. Unlimited Encounters and undo help if you swipe a lot. Invisible mode lets you browse People Nearby without appearing in it, useful if you'd rather choose who sees you. Chat with popular users lifts the gate on the most-liked profiles. The rest is polish.
Premium vs Premium Plus
Premium Plus adds daily Extra Shows (boosts to the top of Encounters), free crushes, advanced filters and larger photo limits on top of everything in Premium, for roughly two to three times the price. The boosts do get you seen by more people, but being seen more only helps a profile people already like; on an average profile it mostly means more skips. Unless you're in a very busy city and rely on daily boosts, Premium plus an occasional small credit pack does the same job for much less.
Credits and boosts
Credits are Badoo's pay-as-you-go currency, separate from the subscription. They buy Extra Shows (top of Encounters), Rise Up (top of People Nearby), Spotlight and gifts. Packs run from about $1 for 100 to $36 for 2,750, expire after six months and aren't refundable, and the big packs aren't always cheaper per credit.
Used well, a single Rise Up on a Thursday or Sunday evening, when the app is busiest, on a finished profile, can be worth a dollar. Used badly, credits are the fastest way to spend money on Badoo without meeting anyone.
Who should pay for Badoo Premium, and who shouldn't
Worth it if you
- Have a finished, verified profile with a clear lead photo and a specific About me.
- Want to see who liked you and reply to warm leads instead of swiping blind.
- Keep hitting the daily contact cap in a big city with a deep pool.
- Prefer to browse invisibly and choose who sees you.
- Will use the app for three months or more (buy the long plan).
Not worth it if you
- Haven't finished or verified your profile yet; fix that first, it outperforms Premium.
- Live somewhere Badoo's pool is thin (much of North America, small towns).
- Mainly want relationship-minded people; that's a different app, not a subscription (Badoo vs Bumble).
- Are considering the weekly plan; a month costs less per day.
- Are tempted by Premium Plus for the boosts; Premium plus a small credit pack does the same.
If you're not getting matches on the free tier, the cause is almost always the profile, not the paywall. No matches on Badoo walks through the fixes, and the AI dating profile generator writes a Badoo About me in seconds.
Badoo Premium vs Tinder and Bumble

Badoo is the cheapest of the three by a wide margin and the only one whose free tier includes open messaging. Tinder charges more for a bigger pool, especially in North America; Bumble charges the most for the best safety tools and a relationship-minded crowd. How to pay less for Badoo Premium
Finish and verify the profile, use People Nearby daily, and see whether your city has the pool. Most doubts about paying are answered before you spend anything.
17–40% cheaper per month than monthly and nearly three times cheaper per day than weekly. Three months is the sweet spot if you're unsure.
Badoo often shows 50% off or a free trial when a subscription lapses or when you start the delete-account flow. Check before paying full price.
Cancel in Google Play or App Store subscriptions right after buying; you keep Premium to the end of the period and avoid a surprise renewal at full price.
Premium plus the smallest credit pack for an occasional boost does the same job for a fraction of the price.
If you do buy credits, use Rise Up on Thursday or Sunday evenings when the app is busiest, and only on a finished profile.
Cancelling and refunds
Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought through, not by Badoo. On Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Badoo → Cancel. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Badoo → Cancel. Cancelling stops renewal and you keep Premium until the period ends; deleting the app does nothing. Refunds are at Google's or Apple's discretion and are usually granted only for accidental purchases requested quickly; credits are non-refundable. If you want to leave Badoo altogether, cancel first, then follow delete Badoo account. If the app is misbehaving rather than the subscription, Badoo not working covers the fixes.
